Discovery notes people actually reread

Discovery collapses when notes live in ten tools and none of them connect to a decision. We teach a lightweight structure: intent, observed behavior, surprise, and next experiment. That sequence keeps research humane without stripping rigor.

In workshops, participants rewrite a messy transcript into that structure in under twenty minutes. The exercise is deliberately uncomfortable because it exposes where teams were performing research for theater.

The third paragraph discusses facilitation tips for mixed Korean and English sessions, including when to pause for translation and how to capture bilingual glossaries for internal alignment.

Close with a reminder: the best discovery note is the one another PM can pick up next quarter without calling you on vacation.
